Dr. Johnson and his family are proud to call the Midlothian area their forever home! He is very passionate about serving this great community with high-quality dental care and welcoming in patients of all ages for attentive, compassionate treatment. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Johnson is proud to be celebrating 11 happy years of marriage to his wife Mary! They are the proud parents of two sons and two daughters. Spending quality time with his family is his most important priority outside of work, but his other passions include playing basketball (he was a Texas High School State Champion!), coaching his kids’ sports teams, running triathlons, serving as an Eagle Scout, and playing music. He is skilled at the piano, participates in choir and barbershop quartets, and plays the organ at church. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Johnson also served on a mission trip in Spain for two years. As a result, he is a fluent Spanish speaker and loves cooking Spanish foods at home like paella.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After attending Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Johnson moved on to Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. There he was on the Dean’s List every year, graduated in the top 10% of the class, and was considered a top clinician throughout his courses. Beyond traditional education, he is also proud to be a dedicated student at the world-renowned Dawson Academy and has attended advanced training in oral sedation and dental implants as well. He is a provider for Invisalign and a member of the following dental organizations:

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

There’s a lot about the field of dentistry that appeals to Dr. Johnson, from being able to help people directly to the relationship-heavy aspects of ongoing care. He really enjoys being able to work directly with his hands while maintaining a high level of artistry as well! This career is definitely the ideal fit for his strengths and passions.
