New Dental Patients Midlothian
Important Information Before You Arrive
If you’re brand new to Dental Center of Midlothian, welcome! Dr. Johnson is happy to make your acquaintance. The team can’t wait to get you set up as a new member of our dental family and hopes that you’ll enjoy your future dental treatments. If you aren’t sure what to expect with your first visit at our Midlothian office, we’ve included a few sections to help you get prepared. This includes expectations for your first visit and relevant patient forms.
Your First Visit

When you arrive, we’ll offer you a cold drink from our waiting room, whether that’s chilled or sparkling water, lemonade, or Izze. One of our hygienists will bring you into the operatory, making sure you’re comfortable and ready for treatment. You can watch TV during your appointment and make use of our blankets, heated neck pillows, or noise-canceling headphones (equipped with radio for improved comfort). Once your cleaning, X-rays, and dental exams are completed, we’ll go over photos captured via our intraoral camera and discuss your recommended treatment.
New Patient Forms

We recommend that patients arrive 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled appointment time to fill out new patient forms. However, if you don’t want to fill out forms while at our office, you can easily do it at home! We provide new patient forms on our website so patients can download them directly! By simply printing and filling them out at home, you can save time during your visit.
Dental Insurance Accepted

Dental insurance makes it easier to pay for dental care, especially when it’s preventive. Our dental office accepts most PPO dental plans. Our office manager, Nathalie, is more than happy to discuss your benefits and ensure that you’re doing everything you need to maximize your coverage.
In-House Dental Plan

Even if you don’t have dental insurance, that doesn’t mean you can’t get the basic preventive care that you and your family need. Our office’s In-House Dental Plan makes it easy to get preventive cleanings, exams, and X-rays for adults, children, and patients needing gum disease therapy. Not only is paying for dental care in this way more affordable, but you can start using it the day that you enroll, and you can save 15 percent on all services, even treatments that would not typically be covered through dental insurance.
Financing Available

Do you lack dental insurance but still require treatment? The Dental Center of Midlothian works with multiple third-party financing programs to make paying for dental care more manageable. This includes CareCredit and Lending Point, as they provide payment plans with little to zero interest attached. Our dental office team will work with you to determine which option works best for you and your family.
Online Payments

For added convenience, we’re happy to now offer online payments through the portal below! This means that you can cover the cost of your dental care without having to make a time-consuming phone call or go out of your way to visit the office in person. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% merchant processing fee. And don’t worry – your personal information is always kept secure during the process. If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to let our team know so that we can assist you.
